Who are the chicks & why are they walking?

‘Chicks Walk for a Cause’ is founded by two local ‘chicks’ Ally Bradley and Kelly Davis.

We want to challenge ourselves, create awareness and raise money for an important cause in our local community – The Fight Cancer Foundation.

In July 2013, we have set the challenge of walking the CAMINO DE SANTIAGO – a 780km pilgrimage from St. Jean Pied De Port France, to Santiago De Compostela Spain. We aim to walk this in 35 days. Our main objective is to raise as much money before we leave, this will help fund the construction of stage two for the Albury Wodonga Cancer Accommodation Centre.

Cancer affects so many people in our community, and this centre can help keep those people surrounded by their family through their fight.

“We want to experience something beyond the life we’re living. We would like to do something extraordinary! We need a challenge both personally and professionally” – Kelly & Ally.
